Gratitude and Growth After Receiving a Bible

My name is Jane Khondowe of Kamsache Village in Zambia. I am a Village Church Planting (VCP) student in the Baraka Training Center. 

 I am so thankful to OMS for providing a new Bible to all my fellow students and me. Previously, I had a big challenge since I only had a worn-out Bible. It did not even have a cover or chapters 12-22 of Revelation. 

 It was difficult for me to study and to share the Word of God with others. Most of the time, I borrowed a Bible from friends, but sometimes, they couldn’t lend me their Bibles as they were already using them.

 It was good news and answered prayers when Mark Mbewe, the local VCP coordinator, visited our training center in January 2022. Every one of us trainers received a Chewa Bible. I can’t explain how excited I was that day! 

 The new Bible has helped me be more effective in studying, learning, teaching, and in making disciples. I even planted a church in my village.
