People in many countries are day laborers. They live from hand to mouth, doing hard labor to eke out a living. When disaster strikes, their work opportunities slow or cease, and their situations quickly become dire.

OMS allocates resources where needed most worldwide and is committed to integrating word (the verbal explanation of the Gospel) with deed (Christlike acts of compassion) as seamlessly as possible.
